1. Who we are

LeadPilot is a lead generation and outreach platform operated by Apokalypsis Technologies ("we", "us", "our"), 1501 - 77 Davisville Avenue, Toronto, ON M4S 1G4, Canada. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use LeadPilot at leadpilotonline.com (the "Service").

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, and password (or Google account identifier if you sign in with Google).
  • Lead and business data you search for or import: business names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, and other publicly available business contact details you use the Service to find or manage.
  • Campaign content and delivery data: the emails, SMS messages, and call scripts you create, and delivery/engagement metadata (sent, opened, bounced, unsubscribed).
  • Sender identity data: if you connect a custom sending domain or a Gmail account (see Section 5), we store the domain name, DNS verification status, your Gmail address, and an OAuth refresh token needed to send on your behalf.
  • Usage data: log data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security and debugging.

3. How we use information

  • To provide and operate the Service, including sending the campaigns you create.
  • To authenticate you and secure your account.
  • To maintain suppression/opt-out lists and comply with CAN-SPAM, CASL, and similar anti-spam laws.
  • To troubleshoot issues and improve the Service.
  • To communicate with you about your account or the Service.

We do not sell your personal information or the lead data in your account to third parties.

4. How we share information

We share information only with service providers who help us operate LeadPilot, under contracts that limit their use of the data to providing that service:

  • Our email delivery provider (Resend or equivalent), to send campaign emails.
  • Our database and hosting providers, to store and run the Service.
  • Google, when you choose to connect a Gmail account, so we can send email through the Gmail API on your behalf (see Section 5).

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LeadPilot, our users, or others.

5. Google user data & Gmail API

LeadPilot offers an optional feature that lets you connect your own Gmail account so campaign emails are sent from your address instead of our shared sending address. When you connect Gmail:

  • We request the gmail.send scope only. This scope lets us send email as you — it does not let us read your inbox, contacts, or any other Gmail data.
  • We use the connection solely to send the campaign emails you explicitly create and launch inside LeadPilot.
  • We store an OAuth refresh token so we can send on your behalf without asking you to re-authenticate every time. This token is stored securely and used only for this purpose.
  • You can disconnect your Gmail account at any time from the Senders page in the app, which revokes our access and deletes the stored token.

LeadPilot's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Data retention

We retain account and campaign data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you disconnect a Gmail account or delete a sending domain, the associated credentials are deleted promptly.

7. Your choices

  • Every campaign email includes an unsubscribe/opt-out link.
  • You can disconnect a Gmail connection or remove a domain at any time in the app.
  • You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
